Top picture: salt dough right after cooking ( cook according to the size of the letters). It is necessary to make salt dough and to let each Child make the letters of his/her first name. Don't forget to make holes for a string. Make rather big holes as they shrink with cooking. |

You can also stick the letters on a background painted with acrylic paint. |

You can use modelling clay (hardening in air) instead of salt dough (if you mind making a lot of salt dough which you need for all the letters) : clay is easier to handle and allows to make smaller letters .But clay letters are more fragile and should be glued on a background rather than hanged on. |
