Plastered Strips
This technique makes it possible to  make 3D drawings on cardboard and is halfway between painting and  sculpture.

You need : cardboard, plastered strips, glue, acrylic paint. Wet the plastered strips a little and glue them on the cardboard while making folds. Let dry, the plastered strips harden and keep the shape that you gave them (looks like a cloth). Paint then with acrylic paint. In addition you can stick spangles .

On the right, you  can see 3 bow ties made by a talented child .
